Athens City Schools will resume regular class schedules tomorrow, January 14,2025. Kids Connection will operate as usual.
We want to thank our city public works department and our maintenance and operations department for their hard work in getting our roadways, parking lots and sidewalks cleared and treated during this most recent winter event.
Please be cautious in your travels to and from school. Travel only when and where you feel it is safe. Allow extra time, be aware of patches that may have a higher tendency to freeze overnight, bridges and overpasses, and any areas with standing water.

FYI- Tonight's ACIS basketball game vs Waterville has been moved to Waterville Elementary. Girls at 6:00. Boys at 7:00.

Due to the change in the game for tonight, K-Kids will be collecting Stuffed Animals at the home game on Thursday, January 16th and Monday, January 20th. Students are also able to donate at school this week in the boxes in the gym.

The PTO is excited to announce the ACIS Sock Hop, coming on February 7th! Get those 1950s themed outfits ready for fun with your classmates during the school day. 🕶️🐩👗👖
We will be bringing the Sock Hop fun 'Westside style' with several themed stations, which students will enjoy with their grade level friends.
We have had a donation of ice cream, but we need some other sweet treats and are asking for a little more help.
Girls - individually wrapped treats
Boys - 2 liter bottles of Coca-Cola
Simply send the items to school with your child, and please remember we are a Peanut Free school!
If you would like to be in on the fun, keep your eyes open for a volunteer Sign-up link coming soon.
We are so thrilled to be bringing this Westside tradition to ACIS. Let's get Hopping!
